Liu Xiaoyan has more than ten years of rich experience, especially in China and Australia, and is regarded as a "China-Australia expert" in the field of trade and investment. She has made contributions to the trade and investment fields between China and Australia for so many years.

From the perspective of trade and investment, Liu Xiaoyan has a deep understanding and practical experience in marketing in industries such as cross-border e-commerce and food and beverage. In 2023, she led the team to complete the first report since the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement, "China's Imported Food Trade Report from Australia 2015-2022", and successfully released it at the Parliament House in Canberra and during the 6th CIIE, attracting the attention of senior officials of both countries. Taking this opportunity, she led and established the China-Australia Free Trade Association Forum and served as the founding chairman.
