In recent years, he has published more than 60 SCI/EI papers and has more than 30 national invention patents.
He took the lead in formulating the national standard "GBT 35727-2017 Guidelines for Medium and Low Voltage DC Distribution Voltage" and the national standard "Household Photovoltaic Storage Integrated Equipment Test Specification". He participated in the formulation of the IEEE standard "P2030.3: Standard for Test Procedures for Electric Energy Storage Equipment and Systems for Electric Power Systems Applications", the national standard "Microgrid Access Distribution Network Operation Control Specification", and the "Microgrid Access Distribution Network System Commissioning and Acceptance Specification".
Research results such as microgrids and power storage have been industrialized, guiding the construction of multiple microgrid and energy storage power station demonstration and commercial projects. He conducted in-depth research on the current status of power energy development in major countries or regions along the Belt and Road, analyzed needs, refined key technologies and products, and proposed a microgrid architecture for areas without electricity or weak power grids with "DC collection and AC distribution". In cooperation with enterprises, he developed the definition of primary equipment, system control strategies and methods under this architecture, greatly improving the system reliability and technical economy. It has been successfully promoted and applied in many countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
