Professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China. His main research direction is the design, synthesis and energy storage mechanism of key electrode materials such as high-performance lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and lithium-sulfur batteries. He has published more than 300 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Science, Nature Energy, Adv. Mater., etc., including more than 40 Adv. Mater. papers as the corresponding author. He has been cited more than 27,000 times in SCI, with an H-index of 93. He has been selected into the list of highly cited scholars in the materials category of "Clarivate Analytics" and "Elsevier" for four consecutive years.

Personal awards and honors: the 17th China Young Women Scientist Award (2021), the 16th China Youth Science and Technology Award (2020), the First Prize of Anhui Natural Science Award (first finisher, 2019), the "Materials Today Rising Star" Award of Elsiver Publishing House (2019), the "Outstanding Young Researcher" of Wiley Magazine (2018), the Hou Debang Science and Technology Youth Award of the Chemical Industry of China (2017), the Youth Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Silicate Society (2017), the "Sophia Award" of the Humboldt Foundation of Germany (the only winner in China) (2012), etc.
